Irrigation Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform seasonal system start -ups and shut -downs for irrigation systems
  

• Inspect and service backflow preventers (if certified)
  

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair irrigation systems throughout the season
  

• Install new irrigation and landscape lighting systems
  

• Locate and mark irrigation components prior to landscape or construction work
  

• Perform necessary excavation for repairs and installations
  

• Communicate effectively with clients regarding system functionality and service needs
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Missouri Back flow Certification and Journeyman Lawn Irrigation Installer License preferred 
  

• Experience operating trenchers or Ditch Witch equipment
  

• Availability for occasional weekend work and extended hours as needed
  

• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  

• Ability to perform labor intensive tasks over time

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  

• Valid Class E driver’s license
  

• Clean MVR

• Professional appearance and demeanor
  

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team
  

• Must pass a pre -employment drug screening
