IT Business Analyst (Finance Platform)

In this role, you’re part Ahold Delhaize Global Enterprise Platforms (AD GEP). Our IT organization constantly strives to improve our existing platforms and products, to ensure our business can Source & Procure better, cheaper and faster. We are specifically looking for an IT Business Analyst to support the transformation of its Not-for-Resale (NFR) landscape within AD GEP Finance Platform.

You enjoy working at the intersection of business, technology, and product delivery. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and the Product Owner to shape requirements, improve processes, and support the implementation of solutions that make procurement simpler, smarter, and more effective.

You help improve and scale key procurement solutions such as Zycus, Coupa, and Concur while contributing to two important strategic initiatives:

• the transition towards SAP MDG for Vendor Master Data


• the rollout of a new Intake-to-Procure solution, an AI-enabled process orchestration platform

Key responsibilities of your role.

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

• Gather, analyze, and validate business requirements for Not-for-Resale / indirect procurement solutions and enhancements.


• Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.


• Maintain clear documentation of requirements, process decisions, controls, and dependencies.

Product & Delivery Support

• Support continuous improvement of the NFR application landscape, including Zycus, Coupa, Concur, ServiceNow, and related tools.


• Work with the Product Owner on backlog refinement and prioritization based on business value, risk, and dependencies.


• Support implementation activities, including workflow design, integration alignment, testing, go-live readiness, and adoption.


• Support SAP MDG readiness by identifying impacts on vendor master data, processes, and integrations, and ensure solutions align with procurement, legal, risk, compliance, and finance requirements.

Stakeholder Management & Facilitation

• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to capture needs, pain points, and improvement opportunities.


• Act as the key link between business stakeholders, product teams, engineering teams, and external vendors, while providing clear updates and recommendations to management and steering committees.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor process and system performance and identify opportunities for standardization, automation, compliance improvement, and better user experience

Requirements.

Must have requirements

• 6–8+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role


• Proven ability to gather, structure, and validate business requirements and translate them into user stories, process flows, and functional specifications


• Experience working closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, delivery teams, and external vendors


• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership


• Experience with process mapping, business process management, and continuous improvement


• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to connect business needs, systems, data, controls, and outcomes


• Experience supporting Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, testing, and release support

Nice to have requirements

• Experience with Zycus, Coupa, Concur, ServiceNow, or similar enterprise sourcing and procurement applications


• Familiarity with AI-enabled workflow, orchestration, or intake solutions


• Experience in retail, grocery, or a large international organization


• Experience with Agile work delivery, in particular SaaS applications
