Job Description - IT Manager

The ideal candidate for this role will possess a strong background in addressing a wide array of hardware and software issues. They should be adept at providing technology solutions to employees and collaborating with third -party software companies to adopt new technologies and optimize existing ones. Prior experience in information technology and a solid understanding of current technology trends are essential to ensure the company's technology remains up -to -date.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing and overseeing information technology and computer systems
· Planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT and electronic data operations
· Supervising IT staff through recruitment, training, and coaching, as well as communicating job expectations and performance evaluations
· Designing, developing, implementing, and coordinating systems, policies, and procedures
· Ensuring the security of data, network access, and backup systems
· Aligning user needs and system functionality with organizational policies
· Identifying problematic areas and implementing strategic solutions in a timely manner
· Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to reduce downtime and minimize maintenance costs
· Implementing plans to ensure the company's network remains operational during issues
· Staying current with new network technology and reporting updates to the executive team quarterly
· Collaborating closely with other department managers to assess the company's network growth and maintenance needs
· Auditing systems and evaluating their outcomes
· Preserving assets, information security, and control structures
· Managing the annual budget and ensuring cost -effectiveness

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field

  • Proven experience in information technology, solving various software and hardware problems

  • Strong technical problem -solving and communication skills
