IT SPECIALIST

Position: IT Specialist

Jonesbororealtycompany is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our growing team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company's information technology systems and infrastructure. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, routers, switches, and other network devices

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity

- Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality

- Manage and maintain company databases, ensuring data integrity and security

- Provide technical support and training to employees on various software applications and systems

- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve business processes

- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT services and equipment

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or related role

- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware, and software systems

- Experience with database management and SQL

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

- Industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert) are a plus
