IT Specialist

SAIC is looking for an IT Specialist to join our team of IT professionals support at Fort Bliss US Army Garrison with help desk, server administration, GIS and cybersecurity services.

• Provide in-depth knowledge of enterprise environment management that ensures high-level of availability and performance, such as design, implementation, and sustainment plans. 
• Utilize industry best practices to deliver service desk, desktop, hardware installation, workstation, printer, and multifunction device support to a dispersed client-base at the Directorate of Public Works, Fort Bliss, TX 
• Apply patches, upgrades, and install, as well as provision, new computer workstations and laptops. 
• Manage and create user accounts and Active Directory security groups. 

Required Education:

• Bachelors and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years experience considered in lieu of degree. 

Required Qualifications:

• General PC troubleshooting. 
• Installation, support and maintenance of the MS Office suite of products. 
• Setup and configure software and computer peripherals. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network problems for end-users. 
   

Required Clearance:

• Candidate must have an active Secret clearance.
