IT SPECIALIST

Position: IT Specialist

Dayton Roger's Contract is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Specialist to join our team. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our technology is running efficiently and effectively to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems

- Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements

- Manage and maintain company data backups and disaster recovery plans

- Ensure network security and implement necessary measures to protect company data

- Provide technical support and training to employees on company systems and software

- Stay updated on new technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements

- Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions to improve business processes

- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for IT products and services

- Create and maintain IT documentation and procedures for future reference

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support or related role

- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems

- Experience with network security and disaster recovery planning

- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

- Knowledge of project management principles and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) are a plus
