Salary Range:$64,207.78 - $93,100.80
Works under the direction of assigned manager in developing and implementing a communications strategy for the IT Division. Drafts content including newsletters, memos, press releases, etc. for senior leadership. Assists with creation of training materials to include Quick References Guides (QRGs) for IT systems, applications, and knowledge base articles. Facilitates the creation and distribution of divisional information using multiple social media channels including Twitter, Facebook and more. Fosters relationships with advocates and key persons. Assists with creation of PowerPoint slide decks for upper management. Facilitates with electronically managing files including SharePoint sites and MS One Drive. Proofreads and edits writing material. Creates and manipulates graphic material.

Performs additional functions (essential or otherwise) which may be assigned.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Requires the ability to operate a computer and all basic office equipment.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is performed in an office environment which involves contact with the staff and management.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or closely related field and four (4) years professional experience in communications, training, or education; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Working experience with Microsoft Office Suites and Microsoft Active Directory is required. Experience in corporate, technical, or government communications and project management is preferred.
