Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals


• Handle chemical agents safely by following established safety protocols and handling procedures


• Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial equipment to maintain floor care standards


• Conduct heavy lifting tasks with safe lifting practices for moving supplies or equipment as needed


• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal in compliance with health regulations


• Assist with minor facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or repairing fixtures when necessary


• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a hazard-free environment for staff and visitors

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles with knowledge of commercial or residential cleaning practices


• Ability to handle chemical agents safely and understand chemical handling safety procedures


• Skilled in operating cleaning equipment including floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools


• Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques


• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed


• Knowledge of sanitation standards, facilities maintenance, and general custodial responsibilities


• Ability to work independently with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
