General Function: Reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and presentable workplace environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows cleaning standards, and ensures all areas of the office are consistently well-maintained.
Job Duties:
• Clean and sanitize office spaces, including desks, floors, windows, and common areas
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
• Maintain breakroom cleanliness, including appliances and surfaces
• Report on maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• All other duties or projects as assigned by management
Working Conditions: Standing ~6 hours, capable of lifting from 10lbs - 40 lbs consistently to include; pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and reaching.
Education/Experience: High School Degree or GED
Other Requirements:
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment
