Janitorial Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Account Supervisor to oversee Janitorial operations. This role ensures that all cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards, supporting a clean and healthy learning environment for students and staff.

Schedule: 6:00pm - 2:30am, Wednesday-Sunday

• Supervise and coordinate daily janitorial operations across school buildings.


• Develop and manage cleaning schedules to meet school needs and special events.


• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards and safety regulations.


• Train janitorial staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety protocols.


• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed.


• Address and resolve complaints or issues related to janitorial services.


• Collaborate with school administrators and maintenance teams to align custodial services with facility needs.


• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and evaluating janitorial staff performance.


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.


• Prepare reports and maintain records of cleaning activities and staff performance.

• High school diploma or GED required; additional vocational training or certifications preferred.


• Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory experience in janitorial or custodial services, preferably in an educational setting.


• Strong leadership and organizational skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software.


• Ability to lift and operate cleaning equipment and stand for extended periods.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Knowledge of OSHA and school safety standards.
