Looking for a Java Developer / support deployment specialist

Role Title Java Developer / support / Deployment Associate 

Role Start Date ASAP 

Work Location Reston, Virginia

Role includes execution of deployments to, and support of, large multisystem environments through the development and operations lifecycle, configuration management, maintenance of system documentation, experience troubleshooting Java based applications, and a strong attention to detail. 

Preferred: 

Experience with Java or JavaScript development. 

Experience with Jenkins, Maven (pom authoring), Sonar. 

Experience using Source Control such as Git or SubVersion. 

Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) 

Experience with an eclipse Integration development environment (IDE); preferably product based such as IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD), Jboss Development Studio (JBDS), or Spring STS. 

Unix shell scripting 

Understanding of multi-tiered architectures 

SQL and Mark Logic Development Experienced 

Operations experience performing deployments. 

Technical Skills Required 

Java Novice 

Special Requirements Candidates must have lived in the US for three of the past five years whether as a citizen, green card holder, Visa holder or any other legal residency. 

Resource will be required to support a 24-7 rotating support schedule weekends and evenings.

Position 2

Mid-level Java Developer 

Herndon, VA 

6 month plus contract opportunity 

Candidates will be required to attend an in person interview after a phone/skype interview.

Most of the positions are mid level.  

Must be able to obtain a Postal Sensitive Clearance (US Citizenship or Green Card status required) 

The Software Developer designs, develops, and configures software systems to meet client requirements from analysis, design, implementation, quality assurance (including testing), to delivery and maintenance of the system. They apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes and tools to support a client. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

Four year (Bachelor degree) with a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in IT Strong organization and interpersonal skills.
