Qualifications:
Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Licensure: Active NY State Nurse Practitioner License; Board Certification required.
Experience:Minimum of 1 year of outpatient cardiology Nurse Practitioner experience in an outpatient setting.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems, cardiac diagnostics (e.g., EKG, stress tests), and treatment protocols.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, teamwork, and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct cardiovascular assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized care plans.
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to manage chronic and acute cardiac issues.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., echocardiograms, Holter monitors).
Educate patients on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with practice standards.
