• Conduct student needs assessments and assist with intervention planning.
  


• Maintain accurate counseling records and complete required documentation.
  


• Respond to student concerns and provide crisis intervention when appropriate.
  


• Help foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  


• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective student support strategies.
  


• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and collaborate with school teams to promote student success.
  


• Provide individual and small-group counseling to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  

Requirements

1. Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial but not required.
   


2. Hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Counselor endorsement.
   


3. Fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively with students and families.
   


4. Passionate about supporting middle school students and contributing to a positive, student-centered school culture.
