Job Responsibilities 

- Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation of piping systems. 

- Assemble, fabricate, install, and maintain piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. 

- Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding. 

- Use hand and power tools to cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles. - Install supports, hangers, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. 

- Inspect work sites for obstructions and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. 

- Conduct pressure tests to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems. 

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on piping systems and related components. 

- Troubleshoot and repair faulty or damaged piping systems and components. 

- Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently. 

- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. 

- Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety standards at all times 

 - High school diploma or GED. 

- Completion of a certified apprenticeship program in pipefitting.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a pipefitter. 

- Journeyman Card - Strong knowledge of blueprints, schematics, and specifications.

- Proficiency in using pipefitting tools and equipment. 

- Ability to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems. - Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols. 

- Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights. 

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. 

- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

- Good physical stamina and strength. 

- Strong communication and teamwork skills. 

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. 

- Certification in OSHA safety standards is a plus.
