Our client, a leading commercial drywall contractor in Seattle, seeks a Junior Estimator to support their growing Special Projects Group, focusing on projects under $600K.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This entry-level opportunity offers a structured path to growth within commercial drywall estimating, supporting a successful Special Projects team while learning industry-specific skills and software.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Basic construction industry experience preferred
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Willingness to learn drywall-specific estimating
• Strong computer skills
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with takeoffs for projects under $600K
• Support Special Projects Group estimating needs
• Learn industry-specific software and practices
• Help maintain project documentation
• Develop understanding of commercial drywall systems
• Assist with bid preparation
• Learn material and labor pricing
• Support senior estimating team
