Job Title: Kitchen Attendant

Location:

• U.S. Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay

1 Washington Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19147

Schedule:

Working Days: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Duties:

• Maintaining sanitation and cleanliness in the dining and kitchen areas.
• Assisting with the overall operations of the galley (kitchen) area.
• Collaborating with food service officers for task direction.
• Handling food service equipment (dishwashers, ovens, coffee makers, etc.).
• Maintain hygiene by following food safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of food handling, preparation, and sanitation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment (like ovens, dishwashers, coffee makers, etc.) is helpful but not required.
• Must undergo a physical exam and be free from communicable diseases.
• ServeSafe Certificate is required.
