About Camp Togowoods
At Camp Togowoods, campers build confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships while experiencing the outdoors in a safe and supportive community. Campers enjoy arts and crafts, nature hikes, environmental education, swimming, canoeing or kayaking, outdoor cooking, and a variety of engaging camp activities. Campers stay in platform tents with wooden floors, cots, and mosquito netting, creating an immersive outdoor experience with the support of counselors nearby.
Campers entering 1st–5th grade can participate in day camp with an optional overnight experience at the end of the week. Campers entering 2nd–12th grade attend overnight camp for 5 nights and 6 days, participating in themed sessions, wilderness programs, leadership opportunities, and outdoor adventures designed for their age group.
Your Role at Camp Togowoods
As the Kitchen Manager, you will play an essential role in creating a positive camp experience by ensuring campers and staff are provided with nutritious, safe, and enjoyable meals throughout the summer. You will oversee the daily operations of the camp kitchen, serving 50+ campers and staff three meals a day each week in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities may include menu planning, food ordering and inventory management, meal preparation and service, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards, and supervising or coordinating with kitchen support staff. You will help create a welcoming dining experience that supports the health, energy, and overall success of the camp community.
We know summer schedules look different for everyone, and this role can be tailored to your availability and level of interest. Whether you are looking to fully immerse yourself in the overnight camp experience or prefer a more flexible arrangement, we are open to finding the right fit.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour or $700-$1000 per week
