Schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

Position Overview

Chick-fil-A Citygate is seeking a strong, hands-on Kitchen Manager (Closing) to lead our evening kitchen operations and closing team.

This role is responsible for overseeing the kitchen throughout the evening and ensuring an excellent close each night. The Kitchen Manager (Closing) will lead a team of approximately 6–8 Team Members while also actively working alongside the team in operational positions.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The right candidate will be comfortable leading from the front, maintaining a strong sense of urgency, and holding the team accountable to high standards for speed, quality, cleanliness, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead evening kitchen operations and oversee the entire closing process
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 6–8 Team Members
• Work hands-on in all kitchen areas, including breading, machines, line, prep, dish, and raw
• Ensure excellent speed of service, food quality, accuracy, and food safety
• Position and move Team Members throughout the shift based on business needs
• Maintain Chick-fil-A cleanliness and operational standards
• Ensure closing tasks are completed thoroughly, efficiently, and on time
• Monitor product levels, waste, cleanliness, and kitchen readiness
• Identify and solve operational challenges in real time
• Hold Team Members accountable while creating a positive, high-performing environment
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, stocked, organized, and fully prepared for the following day
• Partner with restaurant leadership to continuously improve kitchen performance

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and high-energy leader who can balance managing a team with working directly in the operation.

The ideal candidate can maintain composure during high-volume periods, communicate expectations clearly, create urgency, and consistently uphold high standards.

Previous restaurant, kitchen, or leadership experience is strongly preferred.

Candidates must be available Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00 PM–11:30 PM.
