Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Technician to join our team in Highlands, TX. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting laboratory tests, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate data collection to support our research and quality control efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for testing and experiments.


• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests following established protocols.


• Record and analyze test data accurately and maintain detailed lab records.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace.


• Calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments as needed.


• Assist in the development and validation of new testing procedures.


• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and laboratory standards.


• Collaborate with team members and report findings to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in Laboratory Technology, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.


• Previous experience working in a laboratory environment preferred.


• Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety protocols.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.


• Good communication and teamwork skills.


• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.

Work Environment

This position is based in our Highlands, TX laboratory facility. The role may require standing for extended periods and handling of laboratory chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
