Location: Los Angeles, CA — Hybrid. Our team works in the office 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week.
Note: Candidates must be admitted to the California Bar and have at least 3 years of civil litigation experience. Basic employment law knowledge is required; this is not an entry-level position and we are looking for an attorney who can contribute with limited training.

Job Description
- Represent employers in employment litigation and related civil litigation matters.
- Handle matters involving wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, wage and hour claims, PAGA, class actions, and other employment disputes.
- Provide day-to-day advice and counsel on employment law and workplace issues.
- Conduct and assist with workplace investigations and advise clients on appropriate next steps.
- Draft and review employment policies, handbooks, agreements, severance documents, and related materials.
- Assist clients with compliance, risk management, and proactive employment law strategies.
- Develop case strategy, manage discovery, draft pleadings and motions, and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation activities.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide practical, business-focused legal guidance.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to a sophisticated, growing employment law practice.
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Working knowledge of California employment law.
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively with experienced attorneys.
- Employment litigation, employment counseling, workplace investigations, PAGA, or class action experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong business judgment and a practical approach to client service.

- 3 to 5 years: $180,000 to $185,000 + bonuses
- 6 to 9 years: $185,000 to $192,000 + bonuses
- 10+ years: $192,000 to $200,000 + bonuses
