Labor Relations Business Partner

The Labor Relations Business Partner is responsible for supporting Enterprise-wide labor relations and advancing labor strategy initiatives that align with Caesars Entertainment’s business objectives. This role serves as a strategic partner to Human Resources leadership, operations executives, and senior management across a unionized environment, providing expert guidance on labor relations matters that impact organizational performance. The Labor Relations Business Partner leads collective bargaining strategy, labor relations consulting, contract administration, workforce planning, and labor risk mitigation efforts to promote positive employee and labor management relations. The Labor Relations Business Partner oversees labor-related projects, provides guidance during contract negotiations, oversees labor relations analytics, and serves as a primary resource on complex labor matters. The position regularly interacts with union leadership, outside counsel, and government agencies while influencing decision-making at all levels of the organization.

• Provides support during collective bargaining negotiations, including proposal development and tracking, costing analysis, communication planning, and implementation activities.
• Develops and delivers labor relations training and leadership development programs focused on union awareness, contract administration, grievance handling, positive employee relations, conflict resolution, and labor law compliance.
• Reviews and summarizes contract revisions, highlighting key changes, compliance requirements, and operational impacts for leadership and stakeholders.
• Supports enterprise-wide labor relations and labor strategy initiatives designed to align with company objectives, operational excellence, and long-term workforce strategies.
• Provides strategic consultation and guidance to senior HR and operational leadership regarding labor relations matters, collective bargaining agreement interpretation, workforce issues, union activity, and organizational change initiatives.
• Coordinates and implements payroll-related actions, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established procedures.
• Oversees the analysis and interpretation of labor-related data, financial reports, workforce metrics, and contract provisions to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and provide executive-level recommendations.
• Leads cross-functional projects involving labor agreements, operational initiatives, workforce planning, organizational change, and labor cost management.
• Serves as a key advisor to executive leadership on labor relations trends, strategic risks, and emerging labor issues impacting the organization.
• Partners with property Human Resources, operational leadership, and external labor organizations/agencies to resolve complex labor relations issues, grievances, arbitrations, disciplinary matters, and contract disputes.
• Monitors developments in labor law and labor relations practices, assesses organizational impact, and recommends proactive strategies to maintain compliance and competitive positioning.
• Represents the Company in interactions with unions, labor organizations, government agencies, outside counsel, mediators, and arbitrators, as appropriate.
• Influences stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including Vice Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, and General Managers, to drive alignment and successful execution of labor strategies.
• Oversees labor relations reporting, contract administration processes, and compliance initiatives to ensure consistency and effectiveness across the enterprise.

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible Human Resources and Labor Relations experience, including significant experience in a unionized environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading collective bargaining negotiations, contract administration, grievance management, and labor strategy initiatives.
• Previous management or leadership experience, including direct or indirect oversight of employees, projects, or cross-functional teams, strongly preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including the National Labor Relations Act and related labor regulations.
• Exceptional verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive organizational initiatives without direct authority.
• Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen with experience interpreting labor costing, workforce metrics, and operational data.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling highly sensitive and complex employee and labor relations matters requiring sound judgment and discretion.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
• Experience utilizing HRIS, reporting systems, labor analytics platforms, and workforce management systems; Oracle experience preferred.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships with executive leadership, union representatives, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Travel may be required up to 50%.
