It\u2019s not the typical lab; you\u2019ll be hands-on with state-of-the-art equipment performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration. You\u0027ll support innovative equipment providing installation and documentation, making you an integral part of our technology\u2019s success.\n\nIn this role, you will contribute to concept and feasibility hardware to enhance current and develop next generation of semiconductor equipment for our customers.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * Operate in an R\u0026D environment performing preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and calibrations on equipment.\n * Diagnose and repair mechanical, electromechanical, electronic, and vacuum equipment.\n * Ensure safe handling of hazardous gas and liquid materials using required Personal Protective Equipment.\n * Partner with cross-functional teams \u2013 including process development, hardware, and software engineering \u2013 on R\u0026D activities, customer demos, and supporting equipment.\n * Install and provide support for prototype equipment, developing procedures and documentation.\n * Maintain alignment on priorities across tasks that vary from dynamic to consistent with clear and proactive communications.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree or Associates degree in a technical field with no previous professional experience; or equivalent military training with 2+ years of equivalent work experience; or equivalent work experience.\n * This is a graduate eligible role.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Proficient use of a variety of hand tools and electronic test equipment for maintenance, repair, and assembly tasks.\n * Capable of working in a cleanroom environment, wearing personal protective safety equipment, or cleanroom suit.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories \u2013 On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. \u2018On-site Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. \u2018Virtual Flex\u2019 you\u2019ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.\n\n#LI-JK1\n\nSalary\n\nCA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $27.88 - $51.44.\n\nThe above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
