ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform non-routine technical service utilizing the following processes/instrumentation:
  
  
  
  • Compounding
  
  
  • Extrusion
  
  
  • Injection Molding
  
  
  • Blow Molding
  
  
  • Brabender
  
  
  • Roll-milling
  
  
  • Compression Press
  
  
  • High Intensity Blending
  
  
  • Other typical laboratory instrumentation (i.e. Notching machine, moisture measurement, analytical balances)
  
  
  
  


• Perform maintenance of molding and processing equipment


• Assists in performing analytical method validation/qualifications


• Perform calibration, maintenance, and verification of laboratory instrumentation deemed QC critical


• Maintain QC Laboratory systems in alignment with ISO compliance


• Assure proper handling of hazardous materials and hazardous waste generated while performing laboratory activities


• Complete all required personnel training, qualification assessments, and safety procedure sign-offs


• Sample and data management via computerized systems (i.e. LIMS, instrumentation software suites, etc.)


• Order, receive, maintain, stock, and track standards and solvents, disposable supplies/consumables, and laboratory equipment


• Ensure timely sample testing turnaround


• Enter work orders for internal maintenance, and issue safe work permits for completion of work


• Perform investigations into laboratory deviations and OOSs


• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment
