Case Mix: OB/GYN, Low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, VBACs, C-sections

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: No
Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

- Low risk pregnancy
- High risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
- OB Ultrasounds - Performance of, interpretation
- Level I/Screening (viability)
- Routine delivery: Vaginal, Low forceps, Decision-making for c-section
- Complicated delivery: C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions, VBAC's
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
- Surgical gynecology (Open; Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation; Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, LOA's)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified
Licenses: Licensed in ND or IMLC
Experience: Comfortable with VBACs and C-sections;

Epic experience strongly preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide laborist coverage including deliveries, c-sections, and VBACs.
Work collaboratively with midwives and nursing staff.
Manage high-risk and low-risk pregnancies.
Perform OB ultrasounds and fetal monitoring interpretation.
Provide in-house call coverage for OB emergencies.
