Lafayette Home Infusion Nurse

Role Overview:

As an Infusion Nurse at BrightStar Care, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients requiring infusion therapy. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient treatment and optimal health outcomes. Whether you work on-site, you’ll have the flexibility to contribute meaningfully to patient care within our supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer intravenous infusions and other medications as prescribed.


2. Monitor patients for reactions or side effects to treatments.


3. Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols and home care.


4. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.


5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills.

1. Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).


2. Previous experience in infusion therapy or acute care settings.


3. Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.


4. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff.


5. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Bonus If You:

1. Experience with home health or hospice care.


2. Additional certification in infusion nursing (CRNI).


3. Fluency in languages other than English.

Employment Type & Availability:

This position is available as Full-Time and Part-Time, with availability required Monday through Friday.

Location:

This position is on-site only and located in Lafayette, Indiana.
