Job Description
JOB TITLE: Production Operator
DEPARTMENT: Lamination
REPORTS TO: Lamination Area Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: Operate Lamination equipment safely; ensure products are within customer specifications prior to shipment.
JOB SPECIFIC TASKS:
Stage and Identify rolls of product
Use various measuring equipment
Order product from Distribution Center for processing
Ensure internal and external specifications are met
Package product from initial phase to completed end product
Understand and implement the weekly schedule and the 24 hour plan
Frequent quality checks of material (visual checks, AIMS, QMS, etc)
JOB KNOWLEDGE:
Must be able to read, write and understand instructions and customer specifications. Must have or be capable of SDS Awareness.
EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of one year of experience within Armacell is highly preferred. It would take approximately one month to become familiar with all the processes and equipment used on this job to become fully competent. Experience in production environment is preferable. Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. The ability to read, write and understand customer specifications in English is a requirement.
