Laminator Machine Operator - Night Shift

Schedule: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM | 12-hour continental schedule (3 days one week, 4 days the next) | Off every other weekend

Overview

We are seeking a Laminator Operator I to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate laminating equipment, mix adhesives, monitor product quality, and support safe, efficient production operations. Key Responsibilities

• Operate laminating equipment safely and efficiently
• Mix adhesives according to established formulas and production requirements
• Verify product quality and first-piece conformance to specifications
• Read and interpret job orders and production documentation
• Calculate and verify adhesive requirements for production runs
• Load raw materials, manage substrates, and replenish adhesives as needed
• Set up and operate related equipment, including lathe machinery when required
• Maintain equipment and work areas in compliance with safety, quality, and sanitation standards
• Handle hazardous waste according to company procedures
• Report quality, safety, food safety, and operational concerns promptly
• Assist with machine coverage, audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and other assigned duties

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of machine operator experience
• Experience measuring materials and working with chemicals
• Ability to accurately read a ruler or tape measure
• Basic math and calculation skills
• Ability to follow written work instructions and production specifications
• Strong commitment to safety, attendance, and quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Laminator operator experience
• Manufacturing, production, converting, printing, packaging, or industrial equipment experience

Work Environment

• Manufacturing and production facility environment
• Exposure to machinery, adhesives, chemicals, and industrial equipment
• Requires standing, walking, lifting, and working around moving equipment
• Work areas may be noisy, dusty, or dirty at times
