Land Liaison Consultant

Mitchell Homes is seeking a motivated and personable Land Liaison Consultant to join our growing team. In this unique role, you'll serve as the bridge between prospective custom home buyers and local real estate agents across our entire service areas in Virginia, North Carolina , South Carolina, and Maryland.

About the Role

Many of our clients dream of building a custom home but haven't yet found the right piece of land to build on. As our Land Liaison Consultant, you'll guide those clients through the land search process — connecting them with trusted local real estate agents, consulting them on their options, and advocating on their behalf until they secure the perfect buildable lot. Once land is secured, you'll hand the client off to our New Home Sales Consultants, who will take them through the construction contract and building process.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents throughout our service area
• Consult with prospective home buyers who are interested in building but do not yet own land
• Conduct on-site visits to prospective lots, traveling throughout the service area to provide in-person consultation to clients
• Act as a client advocate throughout the land search process
• Coordinate communication between buyers and agents to keep deals moving forward
• Transition clients seamlessly to Mitchell Homes' sales team once land is under contract

 What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience in real estate, sales, or customer-facing roles preferred
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple clients across a wide geographic area
• Must have reliable transportation and a willingness to travel within the service area
• A real estate license is not required for this position
• Familiarity with the NC and/or VA residential real estate market is a plus

Compensation & Schedule

This is a full-time position offering a base salary plus commission tied to goal completion. Earning potential grows with performance.
