Pay: $79,000.00 - $142,000.00 per year

Note: 5+ years of directly relevant land surveying experience is required. Candidates should have strong knowledge of land surveying principles and experience coordinating survey projects, field and office teams, schedules, budgets, and client deliverables.

Job Description

  • Lead land surveying projects from initiation through final delivery, ensuring projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Coordinate field crews, survey technicians, and office personnel throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Provide technical guidance on boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA/NSPS surveys.
  • Review survey data and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
  • Coordinate field data collection, processing, drafting, and final project production.
  • Identify project risks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving forward.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to balance technical requirements, client expectations, and project deadlines.
  • Help maintain a high standard of quality, service, and professionalism across assigned projects.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of land surveying experience.
  • Proven experience managing or coordinating surveying projects.
  • Strong understanding of land surveying principles and practices.
  • Experience with boundary, topographic, construction, and/or ALTA/NSPS surveying.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate field and office teams.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Professional, client-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Surveying software, CADD, GPS, and digital field-data experience is a plus.
