Location: This is a fully on-site opportunity based in Washington, DC, with hands-on project work throughout the surrounding metro area. No remote work is available.
Note: Candidates must have 3+ years of professional landscape construction experience and 2+ years of crew leadership or foreman experience. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to safely drive larger work trucks and trailers, and comfort performing physically demanding outdoor work are also required.

Job Description
- Lead crews of 2 to 4 team members on residential landscape construction projects.
- Turn landscape plans into high-quality patios, retaining walls, drainage systems, fencing, raised beds, planting areas, and other outdoor features.
- Coordinate daily labor, materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics.
- Read construction drawings, perform layouts, and identify field conditions that may impact the project.
- Train and mentor crew members while creating a positive and productive work environment.
- Communicate with project managers and designers regarding progress, scheduling, and field issues.
- Maintain safe, organized jobsites and ensure projects meet high workmanship standards.
- Operate and oversee equipment including skid steers, mini loaders, compact excavators, trucks, trailers, and power tools.
- Collect field information that supports accurate estimating and project planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve crew efficiency, construction methods, systems, and overall project quality.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional landscape construction experience required; 5+ years strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of crew leadership, foreman, or supervisory experience.
- Hands-on knowledge of hardscapes, grading, drainage, pavers, stonework, carpentry, irrigation, or related landscape construction.
- Ability to read plans and accurately lay out construction projects.
- Experience operating landscape and construction equipment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record with ability to safely operate larger work vehicles and trailers.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 75+ pounds and perform demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- English/Spanish bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
