Landscape Crew Member

General Requirements 

• Must be able to work in various outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow. 

• Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks. 

• Able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the day. 

• Must maintain a driving record that meets company insurance requirements and be eligible to operate company vehicles. 

• Required to be available during the off-season for snow operations as needed. 

• Must adhere to all company safety standards, operational procedures, and policy guidelines. 

• Specific job responsibilities are included as guidelines and can be expanded to include other duties as needed at the discretion of Green View managers at any time. 

Position Specific Requirements 

• Perform pre-operation inspections on hand tools, wheelbarrows, and small power tools to ensure safe operation. 

• Load and unload materials, locating necessary items on trucks and staging them for efficient project execution. 

• Maintain cleanliness of trucks, tools, and facilities through daily housekeeping, including washing equipment, greasing and sharpening tools as needed. 

• Check and replenish fluids on equipment to ensure proper function throughout the workday. 

• Operate basic power equipment such as pressure washers and power tampers under supervision, ensuring safe handling and adherence to safety protocols. 

• Assist with planting of annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees, following placement guidelines and ensuring proper backfilling and fertilization. 

• Support landscape construction tasks, including digging, grading, and hardscape preparation, following foreman instructions precisely. 

• Perform repetitive lifting, carrying, and wheelbarrow use, maintaining the ability to lift up to 80 lbs throughout the workday. 

• Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris, storing materials properly, and following all company safety protocols. 

• Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, PPE usage, and adherence to company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
