Landscape Division Driver

Pay: $24–$30 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
CDL preferred, but not required

Help bring beautiful Lowcountry landscapes to life! We’re seeking a dependable driver to support our Landscape Division by safely transporting plants, materials, and equipment to and from project sites throughout the Charleston area.

You enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and keeping projects moving. You take pride in safe driving, caring for equipment, and making sure deliveries arrive accurately and on time. When not driving, you’re ready to assist with loading, unloading, and landscape project support.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate company vehicles and trailers appropriate to your license and qualifications to transport plants, landscape materials, tools, and equipment.


• Coordinate deliveries and pickups with landscape leaders and crews to support project schedules.


• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and equipment with care.


• Verify loads against project needs and communicate shortages, damage, or delivery concerns promptly.


• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep vehicles clean, and report maintenance needs.


• Follow company safety procedures and applicable transportation requirements.


• Navigate residential properties and active job sites carefully, protecting clients’ property and company equipment.


• Assist landscape crews with material handling, job site preparation, cleanup, and other project tasks when not driving.


• Represent Brownswood professionally when interacting with clients, suppliers, and fellow team members.

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record; CDL preferred, but not required.


• Experience safely driving, backing, and maneuvering trucks and trailers.


• Experience transporting and securing equipment or landscape materials preferred.


• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.


• Good communication, organization, and time management skills.


• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to support the team beyond driving duties.


• Ability to work outdoors and perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading.


• Ability to handle items weighing up to 75 pounds using safe lifting methods and assistance as needed.


• Plant knowledge or landscape experience is a plus; training is available.
