About the Role

Ashbourne Farms is seeking seasonal Landscapers to join our landscape and property maintenance team. You’ll care for the grounds at Ashbourne Farms in LaGrange, with additional landscaping and grounds maintenance work at our Haymarket locations in Louisville.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, enjoys working outdoors, and wants to help maintain properties where every detail matters to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Landscape & Lawn Care Maintenance: Perform all aspects of landscape maintenance and lawn care, including mowing, weed eating, seeding, sod installation, mulching, fertilizing, pruning, and debris removal.


• Groundskeeping & Property Maintenance: Assist with general groundskeeping and property upkeep, including fence repair and building maintenance.


• Lighting & Irrigation: Ensure all lighting and irrigation systems are functioning properly.


• Equipment Care: Perform basic mechanical maintenance on lawn equipment to keep it safe and in good working order.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.


• Experience: Experience operating lawn care equipment, mowers, tractors, and power tools. Related lawn care, landscaping, groundskeeping, or property maintenance experience preferred.


• Mechanical Skills: Knowledge of basic mechanical maintenance on lawn equipment.


• Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Work takes place at multiple locations in the Louisville and Oldham County areas.

  • Prolonged standing, walking, and climbing on uneven ground, with frequent stooping, bending, and reaching.
  
  
  • Ability to walk long distances, often several miles in one shift.
  
  
  • Ability to safely operate heavy landscaping and groundskeeping equipment, including the ability to see long distances and strong hand-eye coordination.
  
  
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  
  
  • Ability to work outdoors with frequent exposure to extreme weather conditions.
  
  
  
  

Pay & Schedule

• Starting at $18–$19 per hour, depending on experience


• Full-time positions available


• Seasonal positions available now through the end of the year


• Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m., with some evenings and weekends based on seasonal needs
