Landscape Technician

Job Shift: Monday - Friday

Position Summary: The Landscape Technician is responsible for maintaining the grounds and curb appeal.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for the day-to-day grounds’ maintenance and curb appeal.


• Maintains the highest level of customer service for prospects, residents, and vendors.


• Compliance with company standards and applicable laws, e.g., Fair Housing, Landlord Tenant, Local Building Codes, OSHA, and EEOC


• Must be able to communicate effectively with all team members


• Use hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes.


• Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws.


• Water lawns, trees, or plants, using portable sprinkler systems, hoses, or watering cans.


• Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, or trees, using hand or automatic sprayers or spreaders.


• Care for established lawns by mulching, aerating, weeding, grubbing, removing thatch, or trimming or edging around flower beds, walks, or walls.


• Rake, mulch, and compost leaves.


• Trim or pick flowers and clean flower beds

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Valid driver license


• English language proficiency


• Great customer service


• Knowledge of environmental/industrial hazards as they apply to residential housing
