  Ability to create and implement daily/weekly/monthly/seasonal maintenance programs.

  Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles.

  Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers.

  Prunes and trims trees and shrubs.

  Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup.

  Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.

  Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer and grooming.
  
  


• 
  
  Regular and reliable attendance.

  Performs other duties as required.

  High School Diploma or equivalent.

  Actively pursuing or completed certificate or degree in Horticulture or related field preferred but not required.

  2+ years of industry experience and have a working knowledge of how to maintain plant material in the southwest.
  
  

• 
  
  Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with hands and arms; stoops, kneels, crouches or crawls; talks or hears.
  
  


• 
  
  Occasionally sits, climbs and balances, tastes or smells.
  
  


• 
  
  Frequently lifts up to 50 pounds.
  
  

• 
  
  Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather); near moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles, with toxic or caustic chemicals.
  
  


• 
  
  Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.

  Occasionally experiences vibration.

  Valid Driver’s License
