LAN/WAN Networking Engineer

Job Description:

The LAN/WAN Networking Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure. This includes LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks. The engineer will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the network is secure, reliable, and meets the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks


• Configure and maintain network hardware and software


• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues


• Ensure network security and implement security measures


• Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure network meets organizational needs


• Document network configurations and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field


• 3+ years of experience in LAN/WAN networking


• Experience with Cisco networking equipment


• Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
