Laundry Attendant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Walterboro Express. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, pressing, and organizing linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and quality. The ideal candidate is organized, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and committed to providing excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry according to established procedures.


• Operate and maintain commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.


• Inspect linens and garments for stains, damage, or wear and report items that need repair or replacement.


• Use appropriate detergents, chemicals, and stain-removal products according to safety guidelines.


• Maintain accurate inventory of linens, towels, uniforms, and laundry supplies.


• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.


• Follow proper infection control and sanitation procedures.


• Assist with stocking linen closets or delivering clean laundry to designated areas.


• Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.


• Perform other housekeeping or laundry-related duties as assigned.
