Holiday Inn Express Sedona is hiring a dedicated full-time Laundry Attendant to join our hotel housekeeping team! THE PART YOU'LL PLAY

As a full-time Laundry Attendant, you'll coordinate with our hospitality team to turn rooms over efficiently and maintain high levels of cleanliness for guests. This is a physically active role where you'll remove used linens, towels, and bedding from rooms and replace them with fresh sheets. You'll also bring fresh towels and linens to guest rooms when requested, restocking the laundry cart as supplies run low. As you work, you'll need to maintain a professional appearance, meet work timelines, and follow hotel timekeeping policies.

Attentively, you'll sort laundry into different categories and separate soiled linens in need of special washing and stain removal procedures. Then, you'll follow our hotel policies and safety procedures to properly wash, dry, fold, and stack the different linen types. You'll keep the laundry room clean as you work, regularly cleaning dryer lint filters and following directions from the head housekeeper. When appropriate, you'll notify your supervisor when loads are ready for transportation and inform them of any maintenance needs. Our Laundry Attendant is also responsible for cleaning public areas, attended required trainings and meetings, following lost and found procedures to help return guests' items, and following hotel protocols during emergencies to keep yourself, your team, and the guests safe.

LAUNDRY ATTENDANT REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stay active, move around, operate laundry equipment, and push/pull up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift


• Ability to change priorities, organize your workload, and stay on top of multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment


• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively with a team


• Commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness


• Professional communication and customer service skills

A high school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred but not necessary.
