Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to join a busy hotel housekeeping team. This position is responsible for washing, drying, folding, organizing, and maintaining hotel linens, towels, bedding, and other laundry items.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  Sort hotel linens, towels, bedding, and other laundry items
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Wash, dry, fold, and organize clean linens
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Inspect laundry for stains, damage, or excessive wear
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain proper inventory and organization of clean linens
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Restock linen and housekeeping areas as needed
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Follow proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and laundry products

  Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Assist housekeeping staff with linen needs when necessary

  Follow hotel cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards

  Complete other duties as assigned by management
  
  

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Previous hotel, housekeeping, laundry, or related experience is preferred but not required
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Must be dependable and have reliable attendance

  Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift
  
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lift approximately 25–50 pounds as needed

  Comfortable working in a warm laundry-room environment

  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
