Children's Coalition for Northeast Louisiana is seeking a Lead Agency Coordinator to support publicly funded early childhood programs within our Community Network Lead Agency parishes. This position works closely with early childhood providers, school systems, community partners, and the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) to support high-quality early learning programs and successful implementation of state initiatives.
This is a great opportunity for an organized, collaborative early childhood professional who is comfortable working with educators, managing data and systems, providing training, and supporting multiple programs.
What You'll Do
As the Lead Agency Coordinator, you'll help coordinate the day-to-day functions of the Community Network Lead Agency, including:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for participating publicly funded early childhood programs
- Coordinate Lead Agency activities, communications, timelines, and reporting requirements
- Manage SmartTeach administration, including user accounts, classroom and staff information, data quality, and reporting
- Provide SmartTeach technical assistance and training to program directors and educators
- Support implementation of Teaching Strategies GOLD
- Coordinate annual CLASS observations, observer scheduling, certifications, calibration activities, and required documentation
- Review and analyze program and CLASS data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Prepare and maintain reports and documentation required by the Louisiana Department of Education
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to early childhood program leaders
- Support programs with curriculum, assessments, CLASS, quality improvement, and continuous improvement planning
- Plan and deliver professional development and training for early childhood educators
- Build strong working relationships with early childhood providers, school systems, and community partners
- Support outreach, special projects, grant initiatives, and other Early Childhood Department activities
- Attend community events, conferences, professional meetings, and statewide meetings as needed
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a closely related field
- At least 3 years of experience in early childhood education
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
- Ability to analyze information, maintain accurate data, and prepare reports
- Ability to provide training and technical assistance to adult learners
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the service area

Schedule & Work Environment
This is a full-time, exempt position reporting to the Director of Early Childhood. Typical working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some evening or weekend work may be required for events.
The position includes travel throughout the service area and may occasionally require travel to conferences, meetings, or other events outside the area, including overnight travel.
