Lead Behavioral Health Technician

This position is a lead BHT, whose responsibilities include observing the self-administration of medications with clients.

Pay:  $22-23/hr.

From scheduling an admission date to acquainting individuals with the campus and everything in between, patients are supported by our team of compassionate employees.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of residents throughout the night
  • Conduct routine room checks and maintain accurate documentation
  • Support residents in adhering to their treatment plans and facility rules
  • Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff and participate in shift change reports
  • Maintain a clean, structured, and therapeutic environment

🔹 Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in behavioral health, residential care, or similar setting is a plus
  • Ability to remain alert and responsive during overnight hours
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
