At Freedom Home Care, we're looking for an experienced caregiver who is ready to take the next step into leadership. As a Lead In-Home Caregiver (Mentor / Team Lead), you'll continue providing exceptional one-on-one care while serving as a coach, mentor, and trusted resource for our caregiving team.

What You'll Do

• Provide exceptional, compassionate care to clients in their homes.


• Mentor, coach, and support caregivers in the field.


• Assist with new caregivers orientation,and ongoing training.


• Conduct non supervisory visits, quality assurance visits, and client check-ins.


• Complete caregiver introductions and client meet-and-greets.


• Support caregiver performance through coaching and encouragement.


• Assist with resolving client and caregiver concerns.


• Collaborate with the office team to ensure outstanding client care.


• Participate in the weekday and weekend on-call rotation.


• Attend leadership meetings, trainings, and company events.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday daytime schedule


• One weekday on-call rotation (8:00 AM-10:00 PM)


• Weekend on-call rotation approximately every fifth weekend

What We're Looking For

• One or more years of professional caregiving or home care experience preferred.


• Previous mentoring or leadership experience is a plus.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Positive attitude with a passion for helping others succeed.


• Dependable, organized, and solution-oriented.


• Comfortable providing coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.


• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance.


• Ability to travel throughout our Mankato and Owatonna service areas.


• Ability to safely assist clients with activities of daily living, transfers, and mobility.
