Caregiver Mentor / Team Lead

Are you an experienced caregiver who enjoys supporting others and helping them succeed? Freedom Home Care is seeking a dependable and compassionate Caregiver Mentor / Team Lead to support both clients and our caregiving team.

This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys hands-on caregiving while also taking a leadership role in training, mentoring, and supporting caregivers in the field. You will work closely with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff to ensure high-quality care and consistent communication.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday standard schedule


• One weekday on-call rotation (8:00 AM – 10:00 PM)


• Weekend on-call rotation approximately every 5th weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to clients


• Mentor and support caregivers in the field


• Assist with caregiver training and onboarding support


• Complete quality assurance visits and client check-ins


• Communicate with caregivers, clients, families, and office staff


• Support problem-solving for care and scheduling needs


• Participate in on-call rotation for urgent client needs


• Attend team meetings and company events

Qualifications

• 1+ year of caregiving or home care experience preferred


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Dependable, organized, and professional


• Comfortable mentoring and supporting other caregivers


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Ability to travel throughout the Mankato and Owatonna areas


• Ability to assist clients with physical caregiving needs
