Compensation:

New hires for this position typically start between $18.38 and $22.98 hourly, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions. While the full pay range is provided to support pay transparency, individual compensation will vary within the range based on these factors.

What you'll do

The Lead Cook is responsible for the oversight of all kitchen operations.  This position supports the goals and objectives of Central Food Services a division of Pioneer Enterprises.  The Lead Cook is responsible for executing the menu designed specifically for our clients that has been approved by the administration of the facility and the kitchen manager/Director.  Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:  monthly inventory, weekly food ordering, scheduling, staff oversight, customer service, food preparation, delivery of meals to residents of the facility and consistent communication with the CFS kitchen manager and facility administration

What you'll bring (required qualifications):

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Must have a valid WA state Food Handler’s Permit
• Communicate clearly in English
• Must be able to accurately follow and scale recipes
• Must have 2 years commercial cooking experience in large quantity meal setting.
• Must be able to effectively multi-task
• Must understand cooking measurements and Food Service Terminology

Preferably you'll bring (preferred/desirable qualifications):

• ServeSafe certified
