National Grid is hiring a Lead Engineer, in our Customer Solutions Operations Support department. The work location is preferred to be out of our Waltham MA office but can be flexible. This is a Hybrid Role with both in office and work from home days.
National Grid’s Central Engineering Support (CES) team is seeking a Lead Engineer to provide trusted technical expertise to energy efficiency and decarbonization programs. This role will validate and improve savings and incentive calculations, support automation, perform engineering quality checks for vendor-serviced programs, and equip Program Managers with clear technical guidance. The Lead Engineer will also support new products and programs after launch, working with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors to deliver accurate, reliable tools and results. Success in this role requires sound judgment, strong analytical and project management skills, the ability to mentor junior engineers, and a commitment to accuracy, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Salary
$150,000 - $176,000 a year
