Summary
Directly assists division management on special assignments and projects involving a wide variety of complex technical or operational improvement functions, and develops, coordinates, and directs the implementation of special technical or operational management initiatives or projects that cross divisions and/or functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs specialized assignments in technical and administrative matters.
- Directs and facilitates technical and/or operational efforts the cross divisions/functions.
- Applies sound management techniques to reduce costs and improve operations.
- Functions as a divisional project lead, coordinating the work of specific individuals and providing direction to them.
- Coordinates the technical or operational efforts of management.
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements.
- Negotiates agreements and/or obtains approvals for divisional improvement programs.
- Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of functional programs in relation to established goals.
- Interacts with divisional management to formulate and implement strategies necessary to meet divisional objectives.
You Must Have
- Bachelors degree required
- 8 years of experience in a functional role
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to work on-site as directed by management and as determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)

- Must be proficient in all aspects of DOORS Next software.
- Must have working knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
- Must have minimum 5 years’ experience in Requirements Engineering Management.
- Must be proficient with KCNSC 6x manufacturing process.
- Must have experience working with all Enterprise production agencies.
- Must have minimum 5 years’ experience working closely with KCNSC Product Realization Teams.
