Your New Role

As Lead Estimator, you’ll be at the core of our project bidding process, bringing both strategic and analytical skills to ensure our bids are competitive and precise. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Bid Strategies: Lead the Go/No-Go process, review bid packages, and deliver competitive estimates that set us apart
• Project Estimates: Develop accurate, detailed project estimates across civil, electrical, structural, and mechanical scopes
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Business Operations Manager to secure new business and ensure seamless project handoffs
• System Management: Build and refine systems to streamline the bidding process while managing shifting priorities
• Team Relationships: Cultivate strong internal partnerships, fostering teamwork and implementing new initiatives

• 8+ years of experience in estimating, with a focus on heavy industrial, transportation, infrastructure, road work, and public works contracts.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both conceptual estimating and take-off estimates.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, construction management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience estimating projects of $10M or larger.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of McCormick estimating software preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
