Summary/Objective
Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.
Essential Functions
Directs, operates, maintains, and repairs engineering systems that provide essential building services for a DoD facility.
Oversees mechanical systems, HVAC and refrigeration, electrical systems, UPS systems, water treatment, roofing, steam heating, plumbing, and fire suppression/detection systems.
Performs diagnostics, realâtime systems management, and anomaly response to ensure proper system performance and efficiency.
Directs and performs maintenance on building systems and their components.
Supports engineering review board processes, including DDR, PDR, and implementation readiness reviews for minor infrastructure and discrete projects.
Develops componentâlevel architecture and preliminary design solutions (approximately 65 percent) and progresses them to detailed design solutions (100 percent) across architectural, electrical, mechanical, security, and IT domains to support project execution.
Required Education and Experience
Education: BA/BS; AA/AS
Experience: 12 years total; general experience must include 6 years related experience and 2 years in management or leadership roles.
Must be capable of leading Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Detailed Design Review (DDR), Implementation Readiness Review (IRR), and Joint Functional Inspection (JFI) gate activities for minor infrastructure projects.
