About the Role

We are looking for Lead Guide who will be responsible for leading a studio of 15-20 students, designing and facilitating learning experiences, and building a strong, values-driven culture. This role blends teaching, coaching, and leadership. 

We are looking for an experienced teacher to be the Lead Guide in our Discovery studio that serves learners in the 2nd through 4th grade. This role is ideal for educators with 2-3 years of experience who are looking to be part of an innovative educational organization and develop further in their career.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a studio of students through daily learning experiences
  


• Track student progress using academic data and deliver 1:1 coaching / instruction 


• Design and prepare learning experiences (projects, writing, discussions, exhibitions, events)


• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and key events


• Build a strong studio culture focused on ownership, respect, and accountability

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field - Education or STEM majors preferred
  


• 2-3+ years of teaching experience, preferably with elementary-age children 


• Strong reliability, organization, and attention to detail


• Lead classroom experience is significantly more valuable than assistant roles

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: Starting at $40,000 + benefits


• Schedule: Full-time (8:00am–4:00pm)


• 10-month school year, with June as a working month and July off


• Paid holidays and school breaks
