We are seeking a Lead Line Cook who has a desire to grow into the Sous Chef role. Our kitchen prepares high- quality meals made from scratch in accordance with food safety regulations and company standards. Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining a well-organized and efficient food service department


• Possess a complete understanding of all basic food production skills with the ability to perform these error-free in a fast-paced environment


• Demonstrate passion for preparing and serving attractive, nutritious meals


• Manage ticket times and direct staff accordingly while cooking

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position.


• Experience and/or knowledge of special diets, meal preparation for large groups and short order cooking


• Safe food handling techniques are required


• Washington State Food Worker Card required


• Ability to read and understand recipes


• Work in a team environment


• Manage multiple tasks at one time and communicate effectively verbally and/or in writing.
